We Remember Them

History

The South Australia Police Legacy Incorporated is a completely voluntary charitable organisation formed on July 2, 1989.

Our charter is simple: to render aid, assistance and benefits to the families of any South Australia Police (SAPOL) officer who dies while in service or in retirement.

Independent from SAPOL, S.A. Police Legacy is managed by a Board consisting of current serving and retired Police members and representatives from the Police Credit Union, Police Association, Retired Police Officers' Association, Welfare and Police Widows.

The day-to-day running of S.A. Police Legacy is performed by our Manager, Karl Faeth, in conjunction with Liaison Officer, Sandra Deakin.

Currently, it is our privilege to play a caring role in the lives of over 300 widows and over 60 children throughout South Australia.
