Every day, I am proud to put on the uniform of the South Australia Police because of the legacy created by those who have worn it before.
It is a legacy of honour and sacrifice afforded by the courage and dedication of the men and women who work in our Police service, some of whom have paid the ultimate price to keep our community safe.
That's why I am also proud to be patron of South Australia Police Legacy, a voluntary organisation sworn to help and support the families of fallen members in any way we can. I welcome you to this website.
It will introduce you to our organisation, who we are, how you can help, and all the services available.
You will also find an Honour Roll that lists those members for whom we owe the greatest debt.
Our Legacy will, in turn, be to honour their memory and render practical assistance to those they can no longer care for.
